Men's Rhodes Billfold Wallet

My circa-2009 J&M wallet (I don't recall the model name) finally fell apart. It was very well made and had just the right number of slots for cards, the leather was soft and supple, and the stitching held together well past what one might expect from a wallet in this price range. I purchased this Rhodes Billfold as a replacement, as the design was almost identical. Almost. The Rhodes has one fewer slot on the right side and one fewer slot on the left side. I could live with that, as I assume most people carry fewer cards in this age of electronic payment methods. But what irks me about the Rhodes is that each slot is a couple of millimeters shorter than on my old wallet. The plastic window is smaller, too, so the size differences I measured are not just due to my old wallet's leather having stretched over the years. I assume there will be some stretching, and so this problem may become less annoying, but I do not recall when I bought my old wallet having any difficulty whatsoever inserting and removing cards, and it is a bit difficult with the new Rhodes. The Rhodes is still a good wallet, but it is not as good as J&M's previous model of this design.
