Unfortunately Ankle Strap Not Secure

I tried 2 sizes as I loved the blue color and cut of the square toe bed. Unfortunately, the ankle straps are not secure...they have too much elastic stretch/spring at the clasp, so when I tried to walk the back of the sandal would pull away from my foot making my foot feel not secure in the shoe. I was afraid I may fall or twist an ankle.
