Missing Straps in the Design

You had me at a "cat" but there are definitely somethings that are missing in this tote bag. Yes, it is large and yes, it does have "handles" for straps at each side but the actual "straps" are not provided. You can make the bag smaller by attaching the handle clips but that makes it difficult to place items or access items in the bag. What were they thinking?
