Other occasion to buy:I bought this for my 18-month old grandson, who loves to stack things and put things inside of containers. He has lots of fun with this and can combine this set with other Duplo Legos he has.

Fun but limited

Fun product, my three year old enjoyed it the first time playing with it but with limited pieces and creativity involved she lost attention fairly quickly after that. It’s a cute idea and great to give them a taste of Lego and building but would have been better with greater imaginative possibilities.

Fun for children who are exploring food

The Lego Duplo Growing Carrot is a fantastic set for young children who are learning to play with toys, learning to follow instructions, and exploring and understanding foods. The blocks are the perfect size for little hands. They are easy to stack, connect and pull apart. There is a good number of pieces to engage while not being too difficult to build and play with. The food theme is fun for kids who are beginning to understand what they are eating, and they can make connection between the Lego and carrot on their plate. It was fun to show my son the concept of watering to make the carrot grow by removing and re-stacking the middle pieces when watering was simulated. The blocks are each different in size and brightly coloured so it’s easy for baby to learn about matching and pairing with parental guidance. He was able to follow my simple instruction on how to fit the pieces together. This is great for promoting play and motor skills and I recommend it!

Intresting concept

My daughter loved the watering can as she's helped in the real veggie patch. The sun and cloud were a great idea too. Not sure the growing of the carrot was well recieved. This went straight back in the box and not really played with again.

An excellent add on

A great little add on for an existing duplo collection. My 18 month old loves watering the carrot and making it grow and pulling the leaf on and off.

Lego duplo set

My daughter is 1 and it was super easy for her to put together she loved it and we loved spending the quality time with her! Overall is amazing for younger kids, older kids it may be too easy for them if they like a bit of a challenge!
