Ratings & Reviews

Here's what customers think
"The product reviews provide a mixed assessment of this Lego set. On the positive side, many praise the excellent build quality, fun assembly experience, and great display value with the included figures. However, there are also significant criticisms, with some feeling the set is overpriced given the lack of certain features and inaccuracies in the figures. Overall, the consensus seems to be that this is a decent set with some nice features, but it has quality and accuracy issues that prevent it from being considered a great value."

Great set, bad price

I think this is an amazing lego set, definitely the best skiff and sarlacc pit we've had. It looks amazing next to the sail barge. Unfortunately I think the price is too high and it should've come with the second skiff to make it fully worth it. But still a great set

Super cool and fun to build!

This was a really fun Lego set to build. It wasn’t too hard for my younger son to help me, but he couldn’t do it by himself. The quality is great and I loved the special edition version.

Good Set but Overpriced

I bought this to go with Jabba's Barge to build for May the 4th. Took about a couple of hours to assemble. Page 36 in Book 2 shows a black 2X4 piece but the instructions do not show where this piece goes. I just attached it to the bottom of the stand so the piece is still part of the display. I feel it's a bit pricey for the quickness of the build and the relatively small number of Legos but it is Star Wars and is a nice compliment to the Jabba set.

Easy to assemble

Great set and one of the easier ones to do in my opinion. I find some quite hard but this one wasn’t too hard. My teenage son loves it although he let me built it. I was missing one small piece but I’m not sure if it dropped or the cat nabbed it. Lots of small pieces so can be quite fiddly.

Fun, dexterous and nostalgic!

The LEGO Star Wars Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit toy vehicle playset is a fun build-and-play set designed for children aged 9 and over. Of course, adults can also enjoy LEGO, and as a fan of the Star Wars franchise, I am delighted to own this. So, what’s so great? This playset allows fans to relive the iconic scene from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi while sparking new adventures using their imagination. The desert skiff includes translucent elements for a hover effect, a push-out plank for Luke Skywalker, and a foldout railing reminiscent of Han Solo’s near fall. The Sarlacc pit has levers to move its tentacles, and its mouth can accommodate a LEGO minifigure, adding to the overall play experience. This set is a safe and versatile option for young and old enthusiasts of the classic Star Wars saga. It includes six LEGO minifigures: Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Lando Calrissian, Boba Fett, and a special 25th anniversary Nien Nunb, each with authentic accessories. The playset has 558 pieces, so allows for a rich and detailed style of build or assembly. It measures over 9 cm high, 22 cm wide, and 13 cm deep. I am glad to see step-by-step instructions are included as I am quite methodical in my approach to building LEGO. It is a pastime that I enjoy participating in. The LEGO Builder app provides digital tools to enhance the building experience, and more visual aids, should you wish to use it. This set is part of the broader LEGO Star Wars collection, which allows fans to recreate memorable scenes, craft new stories, or proudly display their models. It is regarded as a collectible item in that respect. Personally, I enjoy LEGO as it allows me to take time away and switch off from everyday stresses. Overall, whether it is for play or for display, the LEGO Star Wars Desert Skiff & Sarlacc Pit set hours of imaginative fun, creation and nostalgia. Since it is so durable, it is made to last. Honestly, it is a joyful experience to partake in, whether it is solely or with others. The only thing I would change is to make it a bit more affordable for everyone to purchase and enjoy. That said, the excitement and appeal is so understandable!

Great Lego set

I had so much fun making this Lego set. Was very nostalgic not just of childhood playing with Lego but obviously the star wars universe too. Concise instructions were easy to follow and once assembled it's a lovely piece for fans to own and show off.

Very entertaining

This Lego set was an absolutely joy to build. Quite challenging as there are lots of different pieces, unusual shapes etc. the mini figure selection with this set is fantastic. For collectors there's lots to add to their collection. Would highly recommend this set to anybody.
