No screen off with YouTube
Love the TV as well asmy b2 but cannot recommend LG anymore as with the last update I can no longer watch YouTube premium with screen off . Big deal breaker for me as I used to like listening to YouTube with screen off going to sleep.

And about your concern the YouTube premium is not playing while the screen is off, you can try to access the Energy Saving Feature and go to Screen Off. -Screen is turned off and only sound is played. -Press any button except the power and the volume buttons to turn the screen back on. *It may not be supported, depending the on the running app or function. Easy to manage
