Hook to Convert to Wristlet

The bag looks like it can convert to a wristlet, that’s why I purchased it. I pulled it out to use on 3/4/24, 5 days past the date I could return it and found out that it can’t be. I am not sure what the purpose of the big purple hook on one end of the handbag is for, since it can’t be used to convert it to a wristlet. The hook is attached upside down, so it can’t be removed and it looks really stupid at one end of the strap. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS DEFECTIVE ITEM, that’s all I can say. I am stuck with this defective item. I would not recommend anyone purchase it.
