I’m A Believer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was obsessed with my Razer keyboard for the longest time and thought I’d never get rid of it. Cue my MacBook keyboard dying out little by little as I sometimes work on the go, so after a thousand hours of research, I came across the MX Mini. Long story long, I loved that little keyboard so much that I ditched my Razer and bought a full size MX Keys for Mac. It’s simply the best alternative to a Mac Keyboard, full stop.

Comfortable keyboard with great configuration options

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this because the Apple Magic Keyboard wouldn’t allow me to program assign key combinations to individual function keys. This has a similar amount of key travel which is important to me, and it has a ton of keys that I can reassign to other functions.

Better than Apple’s Keyboard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two months ago, I switched from an iMac to a Mac mini that required a keyboard and monitor. Initially, I purchased the Mac mini with the Apple keyboard only to find that it was twice as expensive and offered future features (lighted keyboard) and it uses a lightning connector. The MX Keys is a far sturdier machine and its connectivity is USB-C. Apple is still using the lightning connector which is on its way out. Within a few days of receipt of the Apple keyboard, it was returned to the local store where I told them it was approaching obsolescence and I had a feeling that Apple was hoping to clear inventory. By choosing the Mac mini, I was able to purchase a keyboard of my choice and a monitor my choice and the size I wanted. Although I have no inside information, I have a sense that the iMac maybe losing its luster while the mini with Apple M2 silicon, MX Keys and a larger monitor is my future.

It could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It could have all the features of the Windows version, such as greater control over lighting functions. One idea would be to implement a second battery just for the lighting function, like the Matias brand, where when the battery runs out you can continue typing without the lighting function.
