Disappointing dress

I had high hopes for this dress. The colors appeared to be a great combination for a dress to wear to a rehearsal dinner. When I picked up the dress at the store, it was folded up in a package--it felt really heavy. When I opened it, I found that the bodice had a 2nd layer of fabric draped across adding to the weight of the dress. The other detail I did not like, was that there was gathering of the fabric along both sides of the zipper on the butt! That is not flattering to anyone, let alone someone that is larger than a size 10! That always makes butts bigger. The dress was going to be worn in late June, and this was going to be far too weighty.

Great dress but pay attention

I bought this dress in 2 sizes. it is very pretty and flattering. Unfortunately, the one that fit better had significant quality issue, but it was not noticeable until I ironed it. I am keeping the smaller one, but am a little worried. Just check for fabric damage along the side seems.
