Know if your Bottle is Refillable!

Not all Maison Margiela perfume bottles are refillable and I wish they said that in the fine print. My 1oz Beach Walk bottle does not open up and now I have to figure out what to do with all this perfume.

Not what I expected

I imagined that this would have a fresh/clean "beachy" scent. It's more of a powdery scent combined with something that I can't quite put my finger on. Whatever it is, it is not for me. I am disappointed that I paid so much for a scent that reminds me of the fragrances that were sold at the drugstore when I was a pre-teen/teen in the late 80's and early 90's. It's a good reminder to maybe purchase fragrances that you've already smelled at the store. If I had, I would've steered clear from this one.

My daily Perfume

This perfume has a beautiful scent of ylang ylang flower, the citrus from bergamot, a hint of coconut milk and the warmth from musk. I can imagine a bit salty and sandy when walking on a sunny day at the beach. There are just so many stories to tell when I wear this perfume. It truly shouts out my name and perfect match to me. I love it so much! The only thing I wish that they will have a solid cap/lid on for protection. My spray top was broken during the delivery, lucky that I still can use it.

REPLICA REFILL DOES NOT WORK

The refill broke the crimped metal cap affixed to the bottle these bottles aren’t refillable at all. I wouldn’t recommend using them unless you’re ready for a nightmare
