zipper is cheap or designed for lighter faric

you have to pull really hard to unzip it where the waistband and the skirt intersect. too much force due to the heaviness of the woven material. it seems defective or in a situation where the zipper is going to malfunction after you do this a few times. sending it back.

The zipper is for something much lighter weight

The zipper cannot easily glide along its teeth when it intersects between the placket and the body of the skirt. That bend is a thick place and the zipper wants to stop and you have to use 10 pounds of pressure to pull it past that point and that is going to break the zipper in the fact that it takes so much effort to get it past that point says that it’s already defective. Also, the hook and eye fastener looks like it was sewn on by someone who probably is being paid two dollars an hour so it looks cheaply made.
