Excellent Parka for the majority of wearers!
I live in the South, but it still manages to get below 10F on really cold days. With this in mind, here are my Pros and Cons concerning this Parka: Pros - 1. Down and feather insulation will keep you quite warm even in very cold temps. 2. Parka is well tailored with a total of 4 external and 1 inside pockets. 3. Tailoring is excellent, very stylish; pockets have snap-on covers to secure contents. 4. I like the extra length that hits below the hip. 5. The knit sleeves are heavy and have a tight weave. 6. Color is subjective, but I really like the dark blue. Cons - 1. The hood needs more insulation! 2. The inside pocket zipper is puny & I don't see it lasting very long. 3. Outside 'angled' hand pockets are shallow; although 2nd pair are sizeable & will hold most gloves. 4. Main zipper is nylon - would prefer brass or nickel for longevity. Summary - Unless you live in an exceptionally cold climate, I think this is an awesome Parka if you can pick it up for a 'benjamin & jackson'!
Great warm coat
This was a gift to a grandson living in an extremely cold area of the US. He reports that the coat is great. It has all the features that help keep him warm.

It's a very good design but it's not warm enough for the winter in NYC.
