These are great looking sandals. I got them in the tan color. I was initially surprised when taking them out of the box by their weight. They do have some weight to them. I assumed the platform was some kind of lightweight foam. But if they were foam, would have likely worn down soles in no time. After wearing them only a few moments, I actually liked the bit of heaviness. As far as width, if you have narrow feet, these are not for you. I have regular, medium width feet and these do feel a bit loose. They could possibly work for someone with wide feet. It takes a little getting used to walking in them as well because there is no back strap, and top straps are not snug to my feet. I know they have back strap styles as well, but I was very drawn to the look of this shoe with the straw wicker type straps that go straight across the foot and the angle/arch of the platform. I think they look amazing and are comfortable. Length is true to size. Well made. Biggest con..not snug to feet.
