Black swirl dinnerware

Recieved 8 sets of these for my wedding, I stopped using them about a year in a half later as they are crap and break very easily! I guess if you want them to look at and not use then they are the plates for you! Out of 8 settings I am down to 3 bowls, 4 small plates, 3 big plates, and 6 coffee cups (as we don't hardly ever use them)

Beautiful set - but HUGE dinner plates

I was looking for an attractive, durable, every-day dinner set. I fell totally in love with Mikasa Swirl in white. It is a beautiful set - very pretty, lovely off-white color, feels sturdy, nice shapes in the mug and bowl. LOVE IT. I brought one place setting home to try it out, along with a handful of other brands / styles. No question - Mikasa Swirl was the winner. The dinner plate looked big, so my husband tested it in our kitchen cabinet to make sure it fits - and somewhow we thought it did fit. I ordered 8 place settings and 2 extra dinner plates and side plates. So, the set arrives and I'm so excited to get rid of the old stuff and install Swirl. I unpack the first box, stack it up in the cabinet and....... the doors won't close fully :( The dinner plate is about half an inch too big on the diameter. I am devastated - they have to go back. We also put it in the dishwasher to see if it would fit. We didn't actually do a wash, but it looked like the dinner plate would block the spinning spray arm. I'm giving this set 5 stars and a "Recommend" status because it's just wonderful. Please do make sure it fits your cabinets and your dishwasher before you buy lots of place settings though! From what I've seen I don't think I will find anything that lives up to this set.... so so so so sad.

Love the Swirl White Round setting!

My daughter and son-in-laws 2 place settings for Christmas will be a great present for them. They love these dishes and use them all the time for everyday and for fancy dinners. Great quality......
