Toddler loves, adult disappointed

My toddler loves this book, and obsesses over flipping through the pages full of her favorite characters! As an adult, I was a little disappointed that this one has few “stories” adapted from episodes I was expecting. It is mostly an “encyclopedia” of concepts from the TV show (such as cutie marks, Equestria, alicorns, etc) narrated by Pinkie Pie, which is unique and creative, but different from most 5 minute bedtime story books I have read. Nevertheless, my child loves flipping through the pages. They are designed to look like a scrapbook pinkie pie crudely glued together, which as an adult I find disappointing since I’m a fan of the beautiful art style of the TV show. I guess this book was not made for me, so it does its purpose well of entertaining a child!
