Helps oily skin

This really helped hold my make up in place on warm summer days despite my combination skin. It did add a little too much colour for me so made me a touch paler, but I'd still recommend it.

Not A Winner

I can see why this is being discontinued - this powder emphasizes any irregularities in the skin instead of blurring the skin for a smooth finish.

Love

I love this powder. It keeps me matte all day. I work 12 hour shifts. This is almost perfect. I would be so sad if this is discontinued.

What The Heck is Nars Basing Their Colors On?

I'm taking this latest product I've bought as a sign that Nars' products are NOT for me. I bought three Radient Ultra Wear foundations in Tahoe, Caracas, and finally Moorea. All were aweful fits for my skin tone, but I chose to keep Moorea, which is an ungodly orange apricot color which does not correspond to any human being's real skin color. Now, based upon the picture of the model, I bought the Soft Matte Perfecting Powder in High Tide. I've been sooo excited to get it. I opened the compact and it is not only pale and pink, but I'm unable to even use it for it's blurring effects and all of its attributes. It was a final sale for Memorial Day so I can't trade it. I'm over my desperate obsession to be a Nars girl. I will stick with my go-tos, Graftobian HD Cream Foundations in Deep Xanthe mixed with Golden Sunset, and their fabulous silica Setting powders and Lancome Teint Idole Longwear in 410N.. and Loreal True Match powders in Nut Brown and Classic Tan until I find another suitable higher end substitute. I purchased ALL of my products with my own money.

We offer a wide range of shades and are confident that one will be perfect for your needs. If you use shade 410 in Lancôme, we recommend trying Syracuse, which has a similar color depth and tone. If High Tide was too light for you, consider Seafront, which is a slightly darker shade with a neutral undertone. Our powders are very sheer, allowing more skin tones to use the same shade, and they blend easily.
