no way to view router internal state.

I wish to log into the router, so that I can inspect which clients are loaded and be able to see the list and review each one.

Inadequate documentation

I have never found a way to log in to the router itself, so that I can inspect each and every connection that is active. The docs (what exists) don't even mention how to do it.
