At least a half size down but super comfy

Have been eyeing these as a casual shoe. Used to buy these when they were NB's top of the line running shoes. I can feel and see the changes. I would never run in these. Tech has pulled far away from what was available in the 80's and 90's but these are fantastic for supportive every day shoes. I read these run a bit long so I headed into the store. I'm a huge NB running shoe fan. I generally wear an 8W. Tried the 7.5W and they're still pretty long. I had about a thumb's width worth of space. I could have gone a 7W for that perfect snug fit but decided to keep the 7.5W. Definitely try them on in the store. Knocked it off a star because the sizing can take a bit of trial and error to get right. Most of the time NB is pretty true to size.

No need to break in

I bought these last minute before going to Japan. I didn't have time to break them in before and they've been amazing. No wear or tear on my feet. They're so comfortable for long 8+ miles of walking days

Comfortable walking shoes with a style.

990v6 is great for walking in a long distance. Provides good cushion and does not look too bulky in your feet.

Broken

I got it on last Oct, unfortunately the mesh is not durable, it was broken already 🥹I just wear it for daily wear, not even running or training. The fit is really comfy for wide leg and supportive.

Most awesome shoes

This shoe offers excellent support. My feet are trashed from years of being on my feet on concrete floors. I love thes shoes and have been wearing this model and the one before it for 5 years. I LOVE MY AMERICAN M.ADE NEW BALANCE 990V6 SHOES. keep up the good work!
