Soft, bright, unique despite seemingly common, I like it and I hate shag and ivory!

I thought I ordered grey got ivory. My house is a battle between earthtone neutrals & grey neutrals. I prefer grey & generally dislike all earthtones, especially ivory! I also have never liked shag since the bad old 70's. But I had to keep some beiges in the granite & carpet of my new house. My new floor is grey & white flecked painted cement with grey, shading to blue, walls, black & white tiles and grey & beige granite. An almond whitewashed oak dining set came with the house but my decor is pinks & blues. This rug succeeded in tying many things together across 4 open rooms that look into each other. It is plush without being obnoxiously unvacuumable! No rake needed! My cat LOVES it. Heavy traffic for a month & it is still clean & crisp looking.
