After 10 months looks awful

I wanted to love than rug. It’s a good price and I really like the deep blue color. After 10 months of daily wear and tear this rug has NOT held up. It looks matted and dirty constantly. I have to vacuum it multiple times a day. It’s really hard to get any time of dirt/leaves/crumbs( I have a toddler) out of the rug. I am going to replace it this weekend because I am tired of vacuuming 3x a day and it still looks bad. Pic what the rug looks like most of the time. This is about 2 hours after I vacuumed.

Looks good.... Sticky finish.

We like this. rug, but it has a sticky finish on it (and chemical smell) that we have tried to get rid of but so far not successful with basic wiping. Obviously not going to pay to clean a new rug but it would be nice if the smell and finish were not there. For the money, it's a nice looking rug though...

Ellie shag rug

Beautiful rug. Having some trouble getting it to lay flat probably because of its huge size 15' X 18' Gave the quality a 4 rating because the tassels are pretty thin and stringy.
