Great couch, love the recliners

Picked this couch out in the Macy’s furniture store after testing all of them on the showroom floor. I liked it better than the popular Hadley couch because I didn’t sink into this couch when I sat on it like you do on Hadley. It looks nice, doesn’t touch the wall when you recline in it, and is comfortable. I didn’t want to wait several months for a custom high performance material (ie waterproof), so I got the lighter color. Wish it were stain proof/waterproof, but I got the warranty package since just in case. If you like the feel of a supportive couch, you will love this one.

Upholstery and Warranty Issues

We don’t recommend this furniture. We purchase this sectional in February with delivery in March. The upholstery is loose on a few pieces which causes huge wrinkles in the fabric. We called customer service but because it was beyond 3 days they had someone come out to inspect the furniture. He confirmed that the manufacturer did not sew the fabric tight enough. It looks as though it’s been in use for a few years. Despite that Macy’s says we can’t return or even exchange the pieces in question. We would need to use the protection plan that we purchased which is “Worry No More”. We contacted Worry No More and they say our plan does not cover manufacturer defects. I called Macy’s again and they said that the manufacturer warranty doesn’t cover it. We are very frustrated. We’re being told No by both parties. We’ve purchased furniture from Macy’s in the past on more than 1 occasion and have never had an issue like this. We don’t think we will purchase from them again.
