Great read better than average novelty cookbook

Not as big as most gimmicky/IP cookbooks, but they definitely focused on quality over quantity with this one. Lots of really good looking recipes with a lot of variety, there’s a few duds in there (one of them is literally just a bare bones salad) but you can tell they really put effort into making most of them unique and good looking. An issue that a lot of IP/comic/whatever cookbooks is that they usually make stuff up that doesn’t really fit with the source material. Stuff like Darth Vader pancakes and Iron Man Burger look good, but they have nothing to do with what they came from and feel slapped together just so they can make the book bigger. Luckily the One Piece cookbook doesn’t have that issue, everything fits and comes from One Piece’s world well (they even include the manga panel where the dish is mentioned too!). It actually feels like a cookbook that came from One Piece, which is what really sets this book apart and puts it up on top! An overall great book that I could easily recommend to any One Piece fan or people that are into these kind of cookbooks, trust me you won’t regret it!

Mediocre cookbook, but great for OP fan

I was hoping there'd be more pescatarian/vegetarian/vegan recipes in this book but there's definitely a heavy focus on chicken, pork and shellfish. The fish dishes center on mostly whitefish, which was kind of the highlight for me personally, but it's obviously focused on Japanese dishes that veer closer to traditional Japanese cuisine than it does fictional pirate goodies. I would say this is a cute little cookbook for an intro culinarian with an interest in One Piece, living in close proximity to a Japanese grocery for all of the specialty items these recipes call for.

For the King of the Pirates!!

This Book does a great job capturing the spirit of Sanji's cooking. The recipes are fairly easy to understand but it assumes you have prior cooking experience. Dishes taste great.

Amazing

The sanji cookbook is amazing! I opened it and all the foods look so yummy! This is a perfect gift for people who love One Piece. funny story: I was opening the package and i was looking through the book and there was a tiny spider on it and it scared me. I tried squishing it and i don’t know where it went. :(

Pre-ordered it!

Found a fansite that translates the Japanese version of this book. Saw the burger recipe and skimmed through the other recipes. The burger recipe is how I make burgers and I'm interested in the other recipes. The ingredients also look sensible. The recipes seem simple. And along with a reference to the manga page that the food item was shown in there are real life pictures too. I love one piece and good food so I hope this is gonna be a good experience. Sanji definitely had a general audience in mind when he made this book. Lol, good old Sanji. He really is a very kind man!
