Beautiful rug / Poor quality

I am so disappointed. After only 6 months the edge binding is unraveling. I contacted the Macy's furniture store representative and I was told the problem was "environmental " and it's not covered by the warranty. I was told I could fix it myself with a carpet needle and embroidery thread. The last rug I bought at Macy's lasted 20 years which is why I bought this rug from Macy's. I will never purchase another rug from Macy's.
