Unusable Unless You Remove the Battery Tab

Unfortunately the tab that protects the battery cannot be easily removed unless you open up the battery compartment. The screw is extremely small and difficult to remove. A normal small screwdriver doesn't work. You need a special size to do this. Without removal of the tab you can't use the thermometer. Waste of money.

Do not buy this product.

Worst thermometer I've ever owned. Possibly the worst ever made. The on-off button breaks after two uses, and you have to use some sort of small probe to reset it to get it to work at all. Do not buy this product
