The OXO Good Grips 11-Pound Food Scale with Pull-Out Display is perfect for portioning meat, produce, spices and more. Weigh items directly on the platform, on a plate or in a bowl. The display pulls away from the base to prevent shadowing from large containers. A weight indicator shows the capacity left on the Scale before the 11-pound maximum is reached. Press the Zero button to offset the weight of a container or to set the weight back to zero before adding additional ingredients. The display features large, easy-to-read numbers in 1/8-ounce (US) and 1-gram (metric) increments. The platform is easy to clean by hand and the Scale's thin profile stores neatly.

Stays on longer than others

I didn't realize how long this stays on when I'm doing stuff and forgot about it. I'll come back a few minutes later, and it'll be on. I love that! The downside is not showing two decimals places--I didn't check before buying. That's not usually necessary for food unless you're crazy about it. You'll need a different scale. I like that you can pull it the screen to read it when you're measuring in a big bowl that obstructing the screen. T The price point is kind of high. I'm hoping this lasts for at least 5 years. Get rechargeable batteries for it.

Accurate scale

Great Kitchen Scale That Is Easy To Read

An Essential Tool for Bakers
