[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Philosophy’s Hope in a Jar moisturizer is a lovely every day essential. It has a thick, creamy consistency and a faint, natural, barely there scent. It absorbs quickly and easily and keeps your skin hydrated all day. The only downside is that it does not contain any SPF, nor is it made with natural ingredients.

Nice soft glow!

It has an almost velvet like texture that glides on so smooth. Not only is it easy to apply, but it soaks in faster than most moisturizers I’ve tried. It leaves a nice smooth finish, and a fresh glow. A major benefit to this for me is that it seems to keep my oily complexion at bay. I usually have to blot my face a few times throughout the day due to my shiny complexion. But I definitely don’t do it as often with this moisturizer. That was an added benefit I wasn’t expecting. It also seems to even out my complexion and my skin looks so fresh. It comes in a convenient jar, and has a very faint citrus like scent. All of that combined with powerhouse ingredients make this a winner!

Effective product that smells great
