Nice overall, some small design/quality issues

Some issues with quality, good over all. This is a really nice shelf, heavy, well designed (mostly) and looks very good in our tv room. The shelves are heavy enough to hold lots of big books, which is good -- there is no warping. My complaints: the top doesn't fit flush into the bottom, there's a gap of about a 1/4 of an inch and that makes this shelf look cheap. Also, the backer board is not well put together and has gaps, making lines down the back of the shelf that I find cheap looking. Considering what I paid, its annoying. I am now shopping for slightly smaller connector pins so that perhaps the top can sit flush on the bottom. ALSO: this comes in two boxes, andyou should open both and read the instructions for both boxes before you put together. I did not and had to take apart the lower shelf that I had just put together for it to fit to the top! I guess some people just buy the bottom, and the instructions did not tell me this clearly.
