TOXIC fumes were serious. Aired out in a sunroom for about 3 weeks, w/o cover, turning 1-2 days, had to keep door open. Once on bed (guest room), when lying on it, the fumes still came thru when depressed. Tried to sleep on it (on top of covers every couple of days, airing out in between). After 3-5 weeks it finally got better. Worked well for 5-6 mo's, then the gel got too soft & I'd sink into a depression, hard to roll around w/o effort, waking up. Some effort to roll out of bed. I'm 5'3" only weigh 134. It IS more comfortable then mattress alone. Time for another BUT, are any more expensive ones going to be better? Would I recommend? Maybe, but it really could make someone seriously sick. Just beware, it takes months to be able to use SAFELY. You get what you pay for. Agree with others that egg crate is safer & beds today should absolutely NOT come rolled up in a box. LOL, we've been duped by the industry. Can't wait for it to turn back to coil beds (I can hope).

I purchased this bed topper because my mattress is a little too firm and we needed a little more cushion. I took it off after one week because once you’re lying down, the topper molds to your body and creates a dip, which prevents you from moving freely. We tried it again after almost a year and immediately regretted it, the sinking feeling makes it an uncomfortable sleep.

Love the mattress topper!
Not an improvment
We have tried sleeping on this topper for a while before making any comment. Bottom line here is the topper is too soft, causes arm and neck pain. It is also difficult to turn and it makes the bed hotter. Can we return this item?

Do not by this topper! There is some kind of hazardous chemical inside the gel that caused my boyfriends throat to close during the night. We moved it to another room to air out for four months. I then placed it in my spare bedroom and after handling it for less than an hour, my chest got heavy and I immediately threw it out. This is a serious health hazard people for real!

It is typical for any memory foam product to have a slight odor when removing it from packaging, we recommend allowing the item to sit in a cool, dry area out of all packaging and plastic for at least 48 hours before use to release any trapped odors. Topper is squishy. I’ve been using it for about 4 months. It’s too soft. I sink into it and it creates a hole that I become stuck in until it rejuvenates after I climb out of bed. I can barely roll from side to side because of how stuck I become. Not a fan, would not purchase again.

Due to toxic fumes, aired out in a porch for 10 days (flipping every other). Tried to sleep on it & fumes were still terrible, even with bed covers up to nose. After 3-4 nights, runny nose & throat. Back to airing it in porch. Washed cover. A bit better but only if sleeping on it 1-2 nights at a time and leaving it exposed to air out during day. It's better, but boy, this stuff is seriously toxic. Kept it, b/c we need something but are wary. Wouldn't consider buying a foam bed. Mattresses shouldn't be 'foam', come rolled up in a box or be toxic - and be expensive. Sigh. We sent back another one topper (egg crate, w/o cover) which never stopped smelling. I wish we could just find a 'real' bed set that is not toxic and affordable.

Has a temperpedic feel. I was looking for more of a soft cushion you sink into. But it’s quite stiff.
