Well done!

The Rebel Girls books are a great encouragement for the girls who will grow to be the movers, shakers, and fixers of the world they will inherit. The role models in this book are mother/daughter pairs who have excellent rapport with each other and the goals they have set for themselves. There are women well known to all, or to today's mothers, or today's girls, or simply good examples from prior and current century. Excellent book that is designed to make all think outside the box and act of belief in their opportunity to enact change. The colorful illustrations continue to be excellent! I requested and received a free temporary e-book from Rebel Girls via NetGalley. Thank you!

Another great collection of rebel girls!

Thanks to Netgalley and Rebel Girls for the ARC of this! I’ve read almost all the Rebel Girls collections and while I think they all have some phenomenal building blocks in common (focus on women, cool illustrations, easy to follow, perfect length stories), this might be my favorite one yet. I really liked seeing all the mother daughter pairs and hearing how they worked together. I especially liked that there were more people I hadn’t ever heard of, while some are hugely famous (Beyoncé and Julie Andrews, to start) some were just being amazing by being themselves in small towns. There was a nice variety of occupations, from actors and actresses, athletes, to scientists, nurses, and pilots saving injured pelicans. If you haven’t tried Rebel Girls yet, I absolutely suggest starting here!

Great addition to the Rebel Girls set

I purchased Bedtime Stories for Rebel Girls for my oldest daughter a few years ago, and it remains one of her favorite books to read over & over again. I was excited to learn a new book was coming out soon from Rebel Girls, this time about powerful Mom and Daughter pairs! • I love these stories and how they are written and illustrated. At one page each, the stories are perfect to read 1-2 at a time and then discuss together. The illustrations are beautiful and I love they they feature work from women and girls around the world. At the end, there are some prompts and activities to write your very own story. • I’m excited to share this with both of my daughters. I received an advanced copy of this book, review is being left voluntarily and contains my own thoughts.
