Too hyperactive to live with

The trash can is very cute and a good size, BUT it opens all the time. I have it in the bathroom, under a towel rack, and it opens when we go into the bathroom, it opens when we turn on the light, it opens when anything disturbs its environment within a few feet. I wanted to love it, but it is annoying. Maybe it would work better for someone who needs a trashcan in a more isolated location.
