The description of this game is not correct. I spent a bit more on this version because the description states it comes with "clear plastic boxes with lids." This set does not come with plastic boxes! The wooden Army pieces are in ziplock bags placed inside in a cardboard sleeve. The Army pieces look good and the board seems to be the same as I remember. I am disappointed this set does not come with the plastic boxes and will be returning it and repurchase it somewhere else and saving some money. I attempted to include pictures as well but they were not allowed even though they were less than 5MB and in jpg format.
Almost like the original
I was happy to find this retro game at B&N at a good price. Fond memories of playing with wooden pieces that were stored in the clear plastic containers. HOWEVER, although the picture in the online offering shows those plastic storage containers as part of the game; there are only cardboard trays. The plastic storage containers are a nicety and not essential to for game play, but I am disappointed in the false advertising. 4 stars as not all the pieces that are shown in picture are included.
