Very impressed!

I dont normally leave reviews, ive got very dry skin and have been looking for a setting powder that would set my makeup without looking dry. I took a leap on this one cause I love Rose-maries videos and wow it's more than i even wanted. My makeup is set i don't look dry. I am going to purchase some other products to try now cause clearly I've been missing out.

Great for combo skin in dry climate!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have combination skin (moderately oily with decently dry cheeks and around mouth) and live in Colorado where the air is very dry. I find standard setting powders to be too drying on the parts of my skin that are dry, leaving those areas looking rough or even flaky (regardless of proper skin care & prep). After seeing reviews from oily skinned people saying this powder did NOT keep shine controlled, I thought it might actually be a great fit for my dry patches. This powder sits nicely all day for me, it controls the moderately oily places well without over-drying the other areas! I sometimes wear this powder alone because it definitely gives my skin a more smooth, soft, balanced look. It feels like brushing on silk. I LOVE the texture, and I am very picky about textures on my skin. I use a large, fluffy brush for light, airy coverage over my entire face, then a small fluffy brush for a little extra on the more oily areas. This powder does exactly what I was hoping!

I wasn’t really sure what it was all about but it promised to create a “blurring” effect, which was desirable for some parts of my face with rough texture. This delivers as promised. It evens out my skin tone and has staying power. It feels and looks natural to the touch too. It’s great for powdering my nose/cheeks, but not a substitute for an under eye concealer.

I’m a fan!

I really enjoy this powder. I have combination skin, so I want a hydrating look under my eyes but I need control of the oil on my t-zone. This does a beautiful job at both. However, I am OK with a satin finish. After a few hours, I notice my oil starting to peek through but that doesn’t bother me. To me that is better than having a cakey powdery look at the start of my day, or an oily mess if I do nothing. I appreciate this product. I’m looking forward to trying more from RMS!!

Powder that melts into the skin

Hydra Setting Powder. Hard to believe that this powder is not drying on mature skin. I use it with a light hand to the t-zone to absorb oil. It melts into the skin to give a natural soft focus finish. Wow!
