Great for nurses

Only reason for 4 stars is they run a bit big. Next time I would size down. Otherwise they are great. Super comfortable. I’m a nurse on my feet all day and they feel great!

Survived Disney

Poor quality even on sale

This is the second pair of Ryka's that I purchased. My first pair was over 5 years ago. I was not happy. Outside appearance was good but you could feel the moment I put the shoes on they were of poor quality. The shoes had no sole support whatsoever and they were very stiff with hardly no padding around the ankle. I paid retail price. I found this second pair on sale so I thought I would give Ryka another chance. I was disappointed. No changes in quality same issues as the first pair. I bought the second pair for a trip to San Antonio, TX. Walked all day in them for Fiesta. As soon as I started out for the day I could feel the uncomfortableness of these shoes. I ended up changing my shoes after walking for several hours.

Recent shoe convert

I have been wearing Kurus for years and I credit them with fixing my plantar fasciitis, but I may be converting. This is my first pair of Rykäs and I love them!! The arch support is excellent. The part of the heel that rubs against the Achilles tendon is cushioned with what feels like memory foam, and that is usually what bothers me with a new pair of shoes. I have a high instep and was a little worried they might be too tight there since there isn’t a tongue, but so far they feel great. I bought my regular size. They do feel a little long, like maybe I could have gone down a half size, but it’s not drastic enough on me to bother with an exchange. The whole sole is cushioned in a delightful way. This is likely the first pair of many for me!

Comfy

These shoes are so comfy. They’ve become my #1 walking shoe and I walk 10,000 steps a day and they’re still comfortable. The only thing, is the color is not a true white and it looks odd with my socks.
