    • A plating of rhodium is applied to white gold to improve its shine and luster. The plating will wear off and can be reapplied by a jeweler as needed. Rhodium is a member of the platinum family.

The ring design is beautiful!!! The sapphire is a on the darker side, it almost looks black. The picture has been modified to enhance the ring and color. I kept it because of a good sale and the design but not to happy with the sapphire. Just a preference.
