One of the many SCANPAN I own. Love the product, the quality, ease of use and ability to clean, and its sturdiness. Just the best, even cooking surface, moreover unlike other cheaper quality pans I have used, food doesn't boil/overflow,. From the look to its use, attention in making of this pan is paid to every detail. Not only it is beautiful to look at, but just as lovely to use. Unlike the classic SCANPAN, this CTX version is slightly heavy. Overall the best pan, worth the price. The only thing I like to see, is instead of "imported" the description should indicate that item is made in Denmark, as knowing where an item is made is important for my decision to purchase or not to purchase an item.

This pot is terrible! 1st time I used it, the bottom (outside) got stained. I tried to remove the stains with a sponge & dish soap, & it scratched the bottom. Then it got water stains on the outside bottom of it from trying to wash the soap off. Waste of money, & it was expensive too.

I'm an avid fan of Scanpan with several of their products. Combining even heating, great non-stick surface and easy cleaning, this is my favorite cookware!

Worthy Addition to my Plant-based kitchen
This is truly a quality product. I have an induction cooktop, but another type of pan I used just was not holding up. A friend recommended this brand, and I ave not been disappointed. To cook plant-based food without oil, you quickly find out if non-stick is really non-stick. I usually cook leafy greens by first frying up some onions and chilis on medium heat, starting with 5 mins dry, then I add two ice cubes of vegetable broth, and throw in some garlic and go another five minutes and then I throw in my leafy greens, spinach, malabar spinach, callaloo, or some such, and cook it for 7-10 mins. Easy, peasy. This pan does it beautifully. In my old pan, which was supposed to be non-stick also, as soon as the onions started to caramelize they would stick to the bottom, but this pan handles it all gracefully. I am sure that the thick, multi-layered bottom has everything to do with that also - it provides great heat distribution.

Love my scan pan set! I was recommended this brand from a friend of a friend who is a chef in NYC. He said it doesn’t scratch and the non stick doesn’t chip.
