Love this vacuum. Heavy pet home and lots of dust. This vacuum makes my life so much easier. It is a little heavy and when it's on carpet it has a decent pull.

Excellent for Pet Fur!

It is amazing!!! Cleans like crazy. Lots of plastic but I guess needed to make it more lightweight. Con : cord is too stiff and stays coiled when vacuuming. I’m constantly untangling it.

InCREDIBLE!!

I bought this about 3 weeks ago and can’t stop using it! I absolutely LOVE this machine! I was using a Shark that I bought, 12 years ago and thought I loved that one! This one, feels bougie with the extra cleaning boost and clean air filter it has. It is a heavier machine but if that’s what it takes to feel like a Clean Queen, then I don’t mind at all! Hope it lasts as long as my previous Shark!

Don’t bother!

Hate this vacuum. These reviews have got to be filtered because this vacuum is awful. Every time it gets stuck on a rug it turns red and you have to re power. The extension is terrible and barely stretches, it keeps dropping the whole vacuum. So last time it fell I just kicked it. Hate it so much, complete waste of money. Pay the extra and get the Dyson.

Nice vacuum

I bought the Shark® POWERDETECT™ Upright Vacuum with DuoClean Detect™ Technology Model: AZ4002W. I had the shark pet vacuum and the robot for a few years . When I got divorced my wife took them so I bought this model . It picks up great but the detect part that changes the suction I don't see it working as I mentioned we had 2 shark product already. My carpets were only a few years old and was top quality carpets and when my wife moved out I had the whole house shampoo . The new vacuum always has the blue light on saying it still dirty and I vacuumed the same spot for seral minutes and it never changed to the white light. I don't think my carpets were that dirty seeing they were shampoo and we were using the pet vacuum and the robot. I have had this vacuum for several months and vacuum every week as it only me in the house . And I got to say that section thing don't work or it a gimmick. Other than that issue I feel the vacuum works good . I recently got a rescue dog and it really pick up her hair. Over all I think it a good vacuum with good suction.

So far; good, not great.

My biggest issue: The hose is far too short and will not allow more than a few feet of reach. Without purchasing a generic hose extension, you will have to heave the whole unit up on to your couch and stretch to clean behind it for instance. Second pain point is the cord. I was on the fence about cordless and figured this unit would be a good compromise... not exactly. The odor protect cartridge loses smell in day. It may be trapping odor unbeknownst to me but there is no fresh scent anymore. The front lights are a big plus! However, I find myself constantly changing the smart touch floor setting located on the handle by accident. The suction is also average - good not gret. The dust canister is pretty awesome... A tissue was sucked up but didn't make it past the first chamber. Also, it is quieter than most vacuums i have heard. The added attachments are pretty great in concept but most are SERIOUSLY awkward to use even the ones with adjustable angles. Again, the hose is so restrictive you need to buy an extension to try and use anything effectively in that regard. Lastly, it is not made in the USA which was one of the biggest selling points to me. Every box is stamped MADE IN CHINA. I know now that my next vacuum purchase will not be a shark.

Extremely powerful and heavy.

I want to love this vacuum so much because the suction power is incredible. If I had carpet in my house this would be my go to. But I have no carpet and only rugs. Im only able to vacuum my large area rug with it, any small rugs get sucked up whether it's on detect or i manually change it, the suction power is still too strong. Again not a terrible problem to have, but I have to keep a smaller back up vacuum to vacuum those rugs. It does seem to be extremely heavy, but I have had a shark stick vacuum that lasted me 10 years so im used to lighter weight. The power detect takes some getting used to, it's slightly annoying how often it changes. The hose is not very long so that's a bit of an issue and makes it awkward to use. And then lastly the attachments constantly fall from their holding place on the vacuum. So overall if you have a lot of carpet i would definitely not hesitate to get this one!

Clean machine

I love this vacuum! It’s got great suction I thought it might be to heavy but it is not. Love the color of it and I definitely would recommend it
