Chipped in 2 places after 6 months of use

Bought it from Cutlery & More as a set. After 6 months of use, there are 2 big chipped on the blade. Thankfully (I hope) the chips were not mixed with the food or it will cause severe damage if ingested. It is shape but the steel is very brittle. Use for normal cutting and not even chopping or on hard vegetables nor meats. Very disappointed of the quality for such an expensive blade.

Amazing Knife

2 words" WOW" This is my 2nd knife. The quality of theses are just Amazing. The look and the style is beyond compare. The sharpness is like no other knife I have ever used. There is a learning curve for sure. You may think your old knives were sharp but not compared to these. You learn how to cut all over again.

A Remarkable Knife

This is probably the favourite of all my Shun knives. It is such a practical shape, the way it is able to work on any size cutting board is truly a dream come true. The sharpness is a given, but it must be repeated here - these are outrageously sharp knives. The effort required to cut is nil, so preparation is truly a breeze. In any case, the Santoku profile is excellent for any size vegetable it can handle, a workhouse in and of itself especially appropriate for extended cutting sessions and big batches. The ergonomics excel. I highly recommend this knife for its friendly, approachable and compact shape and formidable overall performance.
