This iron is awful. The button is in a bad place it constantly changes settings because of the poor placement and that alone is reason not to buy.

TAKE THIS IRON OFF THE MARKET PLEASE
This is the 2nd Steamcraft I've bought in six months. Both have broken within weeks. The stream button gets stuck and that's it. Party's over. SO DISAPPOINTED. Shocking quality for the price. I had a project to be finished today but now I'm sunk. FIX THE STEAM BUTTON SINGER OR TAKE THIS OFF THE MARKET. PLEASE.

I highly recommend this iron because it heats up really fast and the iron has a large surface to press a large amount of fabric.

Love/Hate
I purchased this iron several months ago & instantly fell in love with its performance. The iron has a nice weight to it, a long cord, holds at least 3/4 cup of water, and has a great long point for getting into the corners & difficult areas of clothing. Plus it’s very sharp looking! Unfortunately……. Within 3 months of owning my iron - while using it - I pressed the steam button for a blast of steam- The steam button never returned/bounced back up. If appears the spring used to make buttons go up/down became dislodged. So the button now remains in the down position. Therefore the iron is NO LONGER ABLE TO PROVIDE BLASTS OF STEAM ON DEMAND !! Therefore, I am unable to provide a good recommendation for the iron for the above reasons. If this steam button was resolved- I would be overjoyed! Sorry singer. :(. But I need my steam blast on demand- it’s key to the ironing process. !
disappointing
There are nice features on this iron, such as the extra long cord, the 30 minute auto-shut-off, the tapered point, the weight and size of the water tank. I like the easy temp selector. However, the most important feature, consistent output of steam did not work properly. That is crucial for the work that I do to prevent scorching fabrics and getting out wrinkles. I am also concerned about the number reviews that this iron leaks and the buttons break after using for not very long. I would like an iron like this with the reliability and durability of a very old basic Black and Decker steam iron that is my back up for when all the expensive fancy irons like this Singer fail.

Button for Steam quit working at 13 months!
I purchased this iron at the beginning of 2023. Last night when working on pressing and steaming some quilt pieces, the steam button broke, or at least that is what appears to have happened as it is in a down position and doesn't depress or come up. I see others have had this issue with the iron. It is a shame that after 13 months, the iron broke. I used it probably once a week - not every day and some months I did not use it at all, so it hasn't been used LOT in the 13 months I have owned it

Steam Button Not Working after Less than 6 Months
Purchased on July 27, 2023, and less than 6 months later the steam button is stuck in the down position and will no longer work. Very disappointed because otherwise I loved this iron, but what is an iron without steam?? Noticed that several other reviews noted the same issue, so this must be a design flaw? :(
