It was definetly not what I expected. I thought with the picture on box and the write up that it had batteries and went fast and changed directions. It does not. Your child has to do it on there own.

Great playset
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it arrived it was larger than I expected it to be. It was easy to assembly because the instructions are very clear. The materials are well made. Is a great product for anyone who likes Sonic.

Fun but needs better instructions
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boy LOVES Sonic and was so excited to help me review this! It was kinda hard to put together and took quite a bit of patience — the instructions weren’t easy to follow and Sonic isn’t able to glide all the way around in a full circle BUT he still had a blast using the Death Egg in creative play with other Sonic sets! It was a great addition!

Was the perfect gift for Sonic fanatics
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is a Sonic fanatic and this was the perfect gift, we like that he brings Sonic and Doctor Eggman and does a 360 spin and thus falls and explodes, making his imagination fly and pretending that he is in the real game

Cute Idea but assembly instructions were unclear and it gets boring quick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so first impression after getting this product to review: I did not expect it to be this big! It says 2.5" with a few small figures but this was a huge box with a big set to assemble (see photos). The assembly instructions are completely unclear and are basically just pictures with arrows which made it pretty difficult to put together. My 4 year old enjoys it but it's not an automatic motion toy at all. You have to push Sonic to move him around the track and then push the button to activate the "explosion" when he's under the villain. Underwhelming. You also have to continuously put Sonic back on the track, which my kid can't do themselves so that's my job.. every 10 seconds! It's a good idea for a toy but I think it could have been executed much better.

So fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little playset was easy to put together! The instructions were picture instructions but honestly didn’t help much. It was pretty intuitive. It’s so much fun to slam on the button and destroy dr egg man! I love that sonic can go both ways on the track. It’s also very nice that it doesn’t need batteries to be played with. It was a little nostalgic for me as a mom but still new and blast for my 7 year old.

Sonic Death Egg
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy for any Sonic fan. The problem is, there are minimal instructions to put together and that makes it a little difficult. I also had a hard time snapping in the bottom track piece for Sonic to slide on. This means that he didn’t launch around the egg like he was supposed to. I think the toy can use some improvement but it is a cool concept and much bigger than I thought it would be.
