Fantastic camera for photos and videos
The ZV-E1 is brilliant! Love it especially for video and also for photography, 12 megapixel are plenty unless you need to print large size!

Best camera so far
Out of the box great video image, ISO 800 and I'm away, very very good in low light, bought the 35mm and 20mm and 15-35mm on order, I only shoot video. up to 30 secs, nature, landscape and seascape, I filmed some Yew trees and they were beautiful, I've only just started and it seems easy to set up, lots to do just love it.

Great Camera so love it got another one
I use to have a7c a6700 and a7 III cameras then bought this one zv-e1 and feel in love. Great small camera for creativity a lot of features in small compact size! Switch between photo / video / s&q I though would not be a good solution but its ok. Most buttons customisable. Only missing aperture dial but paired with lens with aperture then problem resolved.

Amazing but some frustrating faults
- The USB-C port is very fragile, it broke on mine and had to be repaired - The MicroHDMI port is very fragile, it loses connection when touched and also feels like it will break soon - The LCD feels like it is from 10 years ago in both resolution and brightness - Why can I not select 24 fps in PAL mode? - why is 30 or 25 fps not available on H265? - Sometimes overheats Other than that, it's unbeatable value for the video quality you can get from it :)

Fantastic little camera packed with latest tech
I bought this camera to fill a gap. I needed a full-frame second body to my FX6 and a camera to do high-quality vlogs with. This camera fitted the brief perfectly. Everything, except one issue, is better than expected. It allows me to shoot high-quality 4K with advanced codecs, or shoot with log or or S-Cinetone mode. One issue: Overheating! If you plan to roll the camera for long takes (over 30 to 40 mins) then you'll need a fan or rather one of Sony's other models. For normal use, it's a wonder of technology! It would have been nice to have a second card slot though and those strap handles are a bit clunky...

Great Camera, but heating like fire
he camera's features – including its compact size, image quality, and user-friendly interface – have been highly appreciated by our community. However, I would like to bring to your attention a significant concern that has been consistently observed and reported by users, including myself – the heating issue. During prolonged use, the camera tends to overheat, causing discomfort and, in some instances, necessitating a pause in filming to allow the camera to cool down. This is particularly challenging for content creators who require long shooting sessions or those capturing events without interruption. This heating issue not only hampers the user experience but also raises concerns about the long-term durability of the camera. Our community values reliability and durability, especially considering the investment involved in purchasing such high-quality equipment. We understand that technological advancements come with challenges, and we appreciate the efforts Sony has made in creating innovative products. It would be highly beneficial if this issue could be addressed, possibly through a firmware update or a hardware revision in future models. Such a response would not only enhance the user experience but also reinforce Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction and product excellence. Do get get back to me if you need a more discussion, i do use it for my youtube channel Proshine

Hi, Thank you for your review and we're sorry to hear that you're having a heating issue with the camera. We'd like to point out that high-quality movie recording and high-speed continuous shooting require large amounts of power. Therefore, if you continue to shoot, the temperature inside the camera will rise, especially that of the image sensor. In such cases, the camera will turn off automatically because the surface of the camera is heated to a high temperature or the high temperature affects the quality of the images or the internal mechanism of the camera. We also recommend ensuring that the camera is running on the latest software version by following this link: https://cutt.ly/LwXZodRK If the issue is still disrupting you, feel free to contact us by following this link: https://bit.ly/3xPUapp, we will gladly assist you further.
