My favorite coat

Every day I wear this I think to myself, I love this coat! I got it at a great deal and am sooo pleased. I mostly zip the inner vest and leave the outer zipper open. It’s the perfect length. Arms are roomy for bulky sweaters.

Nice but not at all heavy.

I really like this jacket considering that I was able to buy it on clearance! The fit is fabulous and I like the way the hat and neck area have a connected designed to keep the wind off the neck. However, since the description mentioned quilted, I expected there to be some sort of stuffing. It seems that the "quilted" description apparently refers to the stitching as there's not much of anything of substance in between the inner and outer layers. Even if this long jacket had been lined with the same soft fleece that's used inside of the pockets, it would provide a nice warmth to more easily consider it a "coat." I still do like it very much, but it's more of a medium weight, long wind breaker than a coat. Again, considering the clearance price, this was a fabulous purchase! However, had I paid full price, I would promptly be in the process of returning it.

Gorgeous coat but bad overall design

Beautiful well made comfortable coat but unfortunately I returned. It is NOT warm for winter or anything under 50 degrees. At least in NY. Every time I tried on and stepped outside to test, I ended up taking off and putting an old coat on. My spring jackets are warmer. Why would I wear a heavy sweater just to make the coat warm. The pockets are amazingly soft and deep. The quilting is beautifully laid out. Gives a nice shape. It does run a bit large. So where coat goes wrong design wise is the inner zip up is not needed and too short. Makes no sense as it doesn't add any warmth. The coat is longer than most which would be a plus if it was a warm coat for the winter but the length makes no sense as a spring/fall coat. The hood needs work. Too far forward and no cord to tighten. Looks like the wind would blow it back. The double collar can be folded neatly down but zipped up they hit your chin, not in a good way so again not good for cold weather. Otherwise very flattering.

Terrible zipper

I barely wore this but only 4 times and the zipper stopped working as it opened all the way to the top. Money wasted.
