Goes Right Into the Spice Jars
Initially thought the shape was a tad weird and only ordered them for the durability of the steel and the fact the measurement values wouldn't wear off over time like they tend to do on plastic. I'm thoroughly pleased with both the durability and functionality of these measuring spoons. So cool that you can use these to get right into the spice jars without issue due to the rectangular shape. They also have some weight to them and feel and appear to be well constructed. I purchased them on sale so it was a 'win' for me. I would highly recommend you picking them up when they go on sale again.
Works as intended, hope it lasts a lifetime?
I needed to replace some plastic measuring spoons where the measurements were all but rubbed off so they were useless measurements. I like that these are metal, the labels are "stamped" on so no risk of fading over time, they nest neatly together, thin enough to stick into my dishwasher where my utensils go. I haven't tried scooping spices and setting the spoons on the table to see if it stays upright or falls over. A warning that the ring which holds the spoons together is SUPER hard to pry open, I had no nails and needed to use another spoon to slide under to wedge it, then slowly slide the rest of the spoons off.
