I ordered this item for pickup & can't believe that an employee looked at & touched it & decided to sell it in this condition. The pics don't do it justice. You can see the wood through the black enamel. The cuts are deep & plentiful. (I didn't notice until I got home because it was covered in bubble wrap.) This was supposed to be a gift, and now I have to drive to another location & hope that the bowl they have reserved for me isn't damaged. The bowl is beautiful, but the employee should have canceled the order if this was all they had left. The service on the phone when I called about this was awful. This is likely to be the last thing I buy at Macy's.
Bowl looks great but arrived damaged
The bowl looks exactly how I expected, except it arrived with a scratch on it. It was packaged well, so I don't think this happened in delivery. It was scratched, and they shipped it anyway. And it's so difficult to return an item with Macy's, and apparently they don't do exchanges -- I must return the one I received and then purchase a new one. It's so difficult to do business with them. What company won't do exchanges when the item arrives damaged?? I don't recommend Macy's.
