Excellent book for kids!

I grew up reading this book as a child & had misplaced that copy. I still had the rest of the books for the Chronicles series. I didn’t want my kids to miss out on this beloved book, so I bought it! My son finished reading it within 2-3 day- he loved that much!

Beauty and Magic!

This was a re-read as I'd not read since I was a child. Even better than I remembered! I love the land of Narnia - the enchantment, the power, the sheer beauty and magic of this tale.

Whimsical Journey. A little slow

I loved this book. I remember my parents reading this to me when I was little. Even then I enjoyed it. Due to the recent events we are going through I decided to pick it up again. From page one I was thrust into a magical story. It opens with them in the real world but really starts to get good once they enter Narnia. From the second they exit the wardrobe into the snowy banks of Narnia the story gets magical. From the majestic Aslan the lion to the wicked White Witch and her turkish delights, the book presents many amazing charicters to immerse the reader into its masterly crafted world. This book is writen by C.S Lewis, a british novelist. Because of that there are soem words that are not normalized in American english, so you could have some trouble understanding them. The one thing I think this book could have done better is the pacing of the story. This story is not very action packed or fast moving, because of that the book at some points feels like a drag. I think points like those could have easily been skiped over by Lewis these days. I do think this book is a great read and I recomend it to all readers. I do advise bringing some coffee because parts of the book have been known to put people to sleep. :)
