very desappointed

sorry for my bad English. Just received my sedona and tried it immediately with what I thought would be the first easy step. I made apples , sweet potatoes, beets and carrots all of the slices very thin. After 24 hours (44°c) it was still humid and 12 hours later, the apples where still soft and the others were strong and not crispy at all. Does anybody can give me an advice. I do not want to spoil to much food and I could not find anywhere the accurate times and/or temperature.

Great dehydrator

We got the combo and live the two stage temperature function. I make a lot of raw foods and activated nuts. It's quiet and efficient. We got the stainless steel trays and the only thing I'd recommend is that the grid on them is too large. Most of the things we make like granola and Nuts fall through so now we can hardly use the stainless steel trays and have to get some plastic ones. Even though they are BPA free, the stainless steel is a better health choice. I'd recommend redesigning the steel trays with half the grid sizing, so that things don't fall through.

Better than any dehydrator on the market

Great investment!

i'm very happy with this dehydrator, we use if for raw recipes but also to dehydrated, herbs, fruits and veggies for the winter.
