Mixed feelings

I really like the look of this backpack, but I’m having second thoughts on my purchase. I’m of average height, and the straps are extremely long. It’s tightened as much as it can go, and it still hits my back too low. It’s also pretty wide, and a bit inconvenient to get things from it. It would be nice if it had a small outside zipper pocket (it has the small side ones which fit a phone or a can of spray sunscreen).
