When I first read the description, I was really confused. Basically, the first 500 or so pages are super-fun activities and descriptions of our favorite characters and about the world of the Lost Cities. This includes the registry for some of our characters, recipes for Keeper delicacies (the Mallowmelt cookies are DELICIOUS!), and a full map of the Lost Cities on the casing! It also has some pretty funny parts in it (Sophie's medical record is amazing... and so is Keefe's detention descriptions!) so you'll definetly enjoy reading it! This book also contains never-before-seen art, and also includes some of Keefe's drawings (with a Keefe art commentary! Try not to freak out!). The last 250-ish pages are part of a "novella", and while that may seem short, it's packed with twists and turns (beware the cliffhanger... it might make you want to throw the book across the room!). It describes what happens when Keefe wakes up from the events in Legacy, so if you haven't read that yet, you'll want to do that before reading the novella. Overall, this is an amazing addition to the Keeper books, and you won't want to miss it!

AMAZING!!!
I always have trouble finding the right book(s) for me and when I came across this series I was like “woah, I’m in love!!” I do have to say this though Sophie and Keefe have HAVE to get together. I do have to say that this made my top three in the over all series book and I cannot wait for all the other following books to come out and see what happens to Sophie adventure wise but also romance wise. ❌(Spoiler alert)❌ Fitz and Sophie were not meant for each other. They had a little romance in the 8th but it to me felt fake most of the time. Please with Keefe and Sophie messenger, please.

PHENOMENAL!!!!
I can’t believe I can’t just dive into the next one now! Lol Man am I sooooo glad I didn’t start this series when it was first coming out. If I think it’s bad having to wait for the 9th book, then THAT would have been torture with the waiting. While I was doing some searching recently to see what I could find out more about the series(like how many books total their will be, etc), I saw quite a few people who thought this book was a waste of time, not worth it, a money grab, etc. In my opinion I disagree with all of that-I mean I’m sure they want to make money lol but that’s with any book. I know the author had a baby & needed more time than normal, so I think she used the time a new book would normally come out to give something to the diehard fans like this. It has soooooo much in here. Like classified Registry info on characters, 1 particular troublemakers disciplinary info lol, registry list(which also shows how to pronounce each name), the world of the lost cities(which is illustrated on the end papers by Francesca Baerald also)giving info on each of the mapped locations, colored portraits by Laura Hollingsworth that are STUNNING, info on the council/Nobility/Rebels/Intelligent Species, info on food/plants/medicines/gadgets/fashion/creatures, activities, Keefe’s memories, & so much more! ALSO, it ends with a novella that you pretty much need to read before going to book 9. The author thought this was the perfect place to put it. It’s following right after the ending of book 8. It’s usually told from Sophie’s view, but the author said that she really needed to show what was happening with Keefe-what he was doing & thinking, & to do that some chapters had to be from his POV. So taking that part of the story & making it a novella to put in here, where chapters alternate between Keefe & Sophie’s POV was the perfect solution. It was an epically amazing novella at that lol. Whether a short novella or a big chunk of a book-this author can pack a story in some pages. An incredible one at that. I’m sooooooo eager to see what happens next. Especially with that ending from the queen of cliff hangers!! Lol HIGHLY recommend this whole series. I’m so in love with it. Another BEAUTIFUL cover by Jason Chan as well!
