Hidden button holes would be better!

The material and color were perfect! However; the dress has small buttons all the way up the front. Each button has an elastic loop that closes pulls over the button. There are no button holes. The loops are like a wedding gown. They are a real challenge to handle. I felt that with continued wear the elastic would rip the material eventually. Good look, but extremely poor decision to use that type closure on a regular dress. Also, the belt pictured in the ad was not included and yet that was not stated in the ad.

Button up

The dress is beautiful. Big problem with buttons. They are closed with an elastic band. That’s the only way in or out of this dress. First I couldn’t unbutton, got that done 1/2 hour later. Got dress on and it was impossible to button back up. I gave up and returned. This could have been a lovely dress with a side zipper or back zipper or even regular button holes. Dress not cheap. Returned, poor design!

Flattering fit

The fit is flattering, just as the photos indicate. I give it four stars because I think all skirts should have a lining of some sort, especially when the season is colder. And the biggest issue I have is how hard it is to unbutton just to get it on. I think the buttons are feminine and attractive, but that's if I'm only having to unbutton at max three. I'm petite but not a pencil. I have to unbutton this all the way down to the eighth button. It takes an incredible amount of patience, and I just want to rip the dress off before I can finish getting it on because I'm so frustrated. There has got to be a better way!! These buttons may be smaller than those on some of my four year old's clothes.

Great fit and I love the print and the material. But the tiny buttons are difficult for my hands. I don't know how often I will ear this dress because of that. Also, no spare buttons were included. When a garment has so many buttons, a couple of extra would be nice to include, just in case.
