Simple Elegance Every Day China

Microwave safe, dishwasher safe, everyday China. Only downfall was it shipped without any bubble wrap or tissue paper so I had 6 items break. Bloomingdale’s is sending replacements without issue.

SHALLOW!

Not sure how much soup will actually be able to fit in here - the bowl is so extremely shallow. Even carrying a small amount of soup in here from the counter to the table will be a challenge w/o spillage bc the bowl is not at all deep like normal soup bowls. I might wind up using the other bowls that came with the set for soup and returning these. Def. NOT worth the $$$. Only keeping bc they are part of the set. Otherwise, would return all 12!!!

Beautiful to behold, and light to boot!

I bought these dishes when I moved in to a newly renovated apartment in Manhattan. With a new, lightened abode, I wanted dishes to reflect the feeling and these were perfect. The look of the marble complemented my mixed metal flatware and the luster of the finish made them pitch-perfect. Also, they are lightweight, which is a nice switch for me - yet sturdy and durable. My only reason for taking off a star is that my steak knives have left scratches on the dinner plates. Overall, a beautiful service.

I was visiting my aunt and she has this set she bought from Bloomingdales. This set is very lovely for everyday use and special occasions I simply love it and it looks so nice set out on the table.
