We love the stainless steel pitcher!

We’ve gotten rid of all plastics, and this was the last item. I use it daily for protein shakes, and it does an excellent job. Just big enough for our needs. Have mixed a few marinades, etc in it. I would think it will last longer than the vitamix….so a long long time! 😀

Worth it

I accidentally broke my plastic container after 10 years of daily use. The ecological thing to do was buy the stainless steel container and I am so glad I did! At first, I was hesitant about it only holding 48oz, but it’s not that big of a deal. When and if I need to replace my motor, this canister will still be in great condition. Use what you have, repair it, and spend the money on better quality.

We Like the Stainless Steel Container

We like the idea of a metal container. Our previous plastic container served us well, but became stained after 20 years of use and the blades started to squeal. (Our Vitamix is over 20 years old.) The CSR at Vitamix suggested the stainless steel container would work well with our older base and we've been pleased with our choice. Pay attention when cleaning with hot water. Metal transmits heat better than plastic.

Love!

Love, love, love this container! I splurged because we’re trying to reduce the amount of plastic we use in our house. It’s actually been the only one I use for everything! It’s expensive, which stinks, BUT it is worth it if you can swing it. Highly recommend!
